The word “Semper” means “always.” Our name serves as a constant and powerful reminder to never overlook or forget the needs of the most vulnerable in our midst.
Founded in 1984 by Mary Cunningham Agee, Semper Charitable Foundation is a family foundation that has served the needs of the most vulnerable and disadvantaged for over three decades.
LEADERSHIP
Mary Cunningham Agee
Mary Cunningham Agee is the Founder and President of Semper Charitable Foundation. Her educational background includes a BA degree with Honors from Wellesley College, where she graduated Phi Beta Kappa with a major in Philosophy and Logic. She earned an MBA at the Harvard Business School where she majored in Finance and International Business. She is the recipient of seven honorary doctorates and numerous awards that include the Freedom Award and the Centennial Medal of Honor from the Columbus School of Law. After experiencing the tragedy of a second trimester miscarriage, Ms. Cunningham Agee chose to dedicate her energy, education, and business skills to a lifelong commitment to charitable service. She founded both the Nurturing Network and Semper Charitable Foundation in 1984.
Will Agee
Will Agee is the Chairman of Semper Charitable Foundation. The son of Mary Cunningham Agee and William Joseph Agee, he is committed to carrying on the legacy of his father who passed away in 2017. His educational background includes a BA degree from Stanford University with a major in Political Science. He is an entrepreneur and an award-winning film producer and director. He is the Founder and Director of Dulcinea Productions, a San Francisco Bay Area based video production company and creative agency. He is devoted to serving others and promoting a culture of respectful, self-determined development throughout the world.
